Terms of use
Service and operator
GNRCounter provides a free website visitor counter and traffic reporting service. These terms cover our website, counter creation, supplied embed code and available reports. The operator is AHMET DEMİR, ATATÜRK MAH. ALEMDAĞ CAD. NO: 140/144 İÇ KAPI NO: 19 ÜMRANİYE / İSTANBUL. Questions and support requests can be sent through our contact page. GNRCounter is an independent service; a reference to WordPress, Google or another platform does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
Using the service
Read these terms before creating or installing a counter. To the extent a service agreement is formed under applicable law, these terms apply to that agreement. You must have legal capacity, or appropriate authorisation where permitted, and authority to install code on the website concerned. Mere browsing does not amount to consent to personal data processing or waive your statutory rights.
Free counter and available features
The current counter service is free to use. Guest creation does not require a membership account, payment card or identity document. Text and hidden tracking are the currently offered display options; future features are not promised until released. A hidden counter still records supported activity. Creating a counter does not guarantee unlimited storage, availability, access to historical data or a particular number of visits. Any new paid service would require clear separate terms and your agreement; existing use does not authorise automatic charges.
Installation and access
Enter accurate website information, select the available settings and install the generated code only on pages you control or are authorised to manage. Check script support, site policies and any required consent mechanism. Keep private management credentials and access links secure. Treat links that grant access as credentials, and check whether statistics links are publicly accessible. Do not use another person’s counter identifier or obtain access to their reports without permission. You can stop new counter requests from your site by removing its code; this does not by itself delete stored data.
Statistics and limitations
Figures measure recorded activity, not an exact census of people. Scripts blocked by browsers, bots, repeated visits, identification rules, timezones and installation coverage can change totals. Online users reflect recent activity, not confirmed open tabs. A chosen starting count affects displayed totals and does not create past visit records. Reports are informational; we do not promise search rankings, advertising approval, income, legal compliance or suitability for financial or other critical decisions.
Privacy and website owner duties
Our privacy policy explains technical visitor data, contact information, cookies, providers and applicable rights. We do not request payment, health or other sensitive information for the free counter. Do not send passwords, sensitive data or children’s information through messages, URLs or tracking fields. You must disclose your use of analytics, have a valid legal basis, obtain consent where required, minimise data and implement necessary agreements. GDPR/ePrivacy, UK GDPR/PECR, KVKK, PIPEDA and US state rules may apply according to their scope, along with other local laws. These terms do not make your website automatically compliant and do not replace a required data processing agreement.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, malware, phishing, fraud, harassment, privacy or intellectual property violations. Do not bypass access controls, scrape private reports, overload systems, send fabricated traffic to manipulate statistics or advertising, or interfere with other users. Reasonable installation tests are allowed; generating false advertising clicks or impressions is not. Do not present adjusted counter totals as independently verified unique visitors.
Content and intellectual property
You retain your rights in your website and the materials you submit. You grant only the permissions reasonably necessary to handle your requests and operate the requested service, subject to the privacy policy. GNRCounter’s original code, design, branding and editorial material remain with their rights holders. You may use the supplied embed code for its intended purpose; no right to copy the whole service or misrepresent its branding is granted. Keep attribution supplied in the generated code unless we authorise a change. Reporting a translation error does not transfer ownership of your website or grant unrestricted rights to your personal data.
Advertising and external services
If advertising is enabled, it should be distinguishable from content and service controls. Using a free counter does not require clicking ads or making a purchase. Never click ads merely to support us, encourage artificial clicks or send invalid traffic. Advertising and external links may involve third parties with their own terms and privacy notices. They are not endorsements, and any dealings with those providers are separate. These terms do not authorise placing GNRCounter advertising on a website merely because counter code is installed there.
Availability, suspension and ending use
Maintenance, security incidents and technical limits may interrupt features. We may proportionately restrict or suspend use where necessary to address misuse, security risks or legal obligations; where practicable we will explain and offer a way to raise concerns. Unrelated access should not be restricted unnecessarily. Material changes or discontinuation will be communicated where reasonably practicable. You may stop using the service and request help with removal or stored data through our contact page. Required legal retention and applicable data rights remain governed by the privacy policy and law.
Responsibility and mandatory rights
We aim to provide a useful service but do not give a contractual promise of uninterrupted operation or error-free statistics. This does not exclude any obligation, guarantee or remedy that applicable law makes mandatory. Nothing limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud or applicable liabilities for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. The service being free does not remove mandatory consumer or data protection rights. No mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver or blanket indemnity is imposed by these terms.
Changes, disputes and contact
Changes apply prospectively, with appropriate notice of material changes and renewed agreement where law requires it. No change retroactively removes accrued rights. Mandatory laws and competent courts remain applicable, including protections in your country where required; these terms do not compel a consumer to use a foreign court or renounce regulator complaints. Translations aim to have equivalent meaning; no language overrides mandatory rights. If a clause is invalid, the remainder applies only so far as lawful and fair. Send questions, complaints and translation corrections through our contact page.
